Sokka Sora

By Damien Knight

I can’t forget her raven hair
Forever haunted by her eyes
I write and call with care
No thing as fate, destiny lies

I dream my hand along her skin
The raven crows in joy
Waking its illusion again
Is my heart a simple toy?

I drink my coffee and whisper
Sora, I locked you in this prison
The cage of my mind forever
I assure you I can’t be forgiven

No, lady Sora, the sky above
The sea below, neither forgive
For I keep chasing love
And so I cannot without it live
