Hate My Love

by Damien Knight

Don’t love me, don’t stay, hate me
Hate me for my fickle heart
Hate I care to the point I fall apart
Don’t dare like matter or worry over me
Despise my belief in visions & dreams
Hate my poetry for pulling your strings
Show no pity for the shadow king
Scorn me, false flower, and leave strong
Go before I love, before I commit a wrong
My, our fate’ s in our hands I am sure
So go, hate my love, before you’re hurt

Monster

By Damien Knight

I love and I desire
But more I despise and hate
Hate is my bread and wine
And lust is my soul

I drank the blood and ate
I ate the flesh of other men
I feasted on them with relish
There my friend is no sin

No sin is my desire
And my desire is in death alone
And you desire to taste me
You do not exist on your own

Because I consume you
Your love and passion is for me
But I am whole either way
Yet you, beloved, are empty

Neither of us to be apart
If you can love the monster
Who will not love you
Then we, my darling, are one forever

A Bitter Lover

By Damien Knight

you gave me passion, fed me lies
kisses were confused for affection
but it was all misdirection
and you the lord of demise

You tried to reap my love, dear
but you only bred passionate despite
you wanted a bedfellow instead I’m a knight
and I won’t cave to fear

year after year I try to let go
but the bitterness toward you grows
and one day I will be truly free
and forget all these fucked up memories

World of Hate

By Damien Knight

A delight in the eyes
A pleasure to the taste
Are your sordid lies
Of vile hate
The masses eat it
Gobble like wasted children
Eating their own shit
Such awful men
This world is filled out
With bitter jealousy
Ignorance that shouts
Hate them don’t look at me
They are other, disgust
In their voices they cry
Spite and mistrust
They believe your lies
And I rage and rage
Against this world of hate
Fighting the cage
That feels like fate
