Lava Tubes

Dr. Wulff Basking in an angelic glow of the lava tube skylight. These lava tubes are formed while lava is still flowing. As the surrounding outside lava cools the inner parts or the tube drains out creating the cavern. Tubes can range from 15 meters to 50 meters wide. Lava tubes have several fascinating features like this skylight Dr. Wulff stands in. Two such skylights create a bridge feature. You also get flow lines and lava-cycles.
