I bury the desires, try to hide
The love leads to longing
This longing pleasant suffering
My joy is in her smile
My delight is the touch of her skin
Honour in serving her, unseen
To call her my beloved queen
This is the knight’s pleasure
And as Wesley in princess bride
Is known to say, “As you wish.”
Is my eternal answer
For every order my retort
Is my devotion for her
Where are you my beloved
That this Knight may say
“I love you,” and hold you
Forever here in dreams

I was in love with Lenore
The beautiful maiden
Of the sunlit shores
The Raven’ s delight
My Annabelle li was my dream
How I miss her tonight
The seplechure was not for her
No this tomb holds me tight
A death to love made of fear
Painted in deep tones of agony
Lost in my own inabilities
All because I cling to misery
Oh lady of Shadow’s who I love more
Than any being in this reality
If you walk this waking world
I am here, yours to hold, be forever happy

Shadow Queen

The moon is slit so small tonight
I cannot see past it’s thin light
if I could hold you near
Alas will I ever find you dear?
I, the prince of dreams
The eternal king of agony
Seeks forever my beloved dragon queen
Embrace the shadows
Painting light across the sky
Waking me from empty sleep
The lady of dreams is not with me
If only the light above not so thin
Still I believe true love always wins
And the princess of my dreams
Will someday be my shadow queen

Unchained

Walking away from the memories
Leaving all these stranded dreams
I suffer carrying the agony
Knowing it is but false reality
Her chains, both forced and self imposed
Alas do not allow her room to grow
The mind a prison, I can’t let her know
If I loved her, I mustn’t let it show
The games played against the heart
Will break even the strongest apart
I want her to be happy, set free

Your light laugh, the glare of your rage
Each argument deeper realisation
Of my passion for the daughter of the moon
I dream and call your name, see your face
Radiant soul, I will keep waiting

Harbour

Look for me in the wind
Stare out into the vast abyss
The breeze is my friend
I’ll be the man that you miss

Like the raging storms before me
And that calm you feel when I’m gone
It all leaves you uneasy, lonely
I knew, we’d grow this way all along

But my heart still yearns and I offer
The safety of my habour to you
Come dock here when your heart is unsure
And I my beloved remain yours true.

In Darkness

“I fell in love with the darkness.”
The Lady of light whispered to me,
“You’re mysterious, My shadowed prince.”
Lady of fire this darkness is agony
The shadows weigh heavy on my arms
Your brilliance, a necessity, my troubled moon
If I cannot save me, can I keep you from harm?
Alas i am the raging typhoon
The storm locks away your light
“Embrace the shadows, take flight weary black-bird”
I try, is the battle worth this fight?
How when my voice goes unheard?
Stay with me and know I am yours
Love my darkness as I bask in your shine
I can’t fight for me, but of you I’m sure
Stand against the world knowing you’re mine
