feathers on the wind this bird’s broken wings
can’t take flight, attempt to shake her
my mind further consumed, praying to aphrodite
send your sons arrow that she love me

yet i cannot say who to send the arrow
i have no name, no directions to give
my heart is walled like china, impenetrable
only she will pass through and see the depth of my soul

i wait, writing line and verse for my wife
a woman i’ve yet to meet or maybe i know her
i just dont know, i sit in the deep empty abyss
that is my thoughts waiting for her or deaths kiss
